What is a Miniature Poodle?

A Miniature Poodle is exactly what it sounds like. Instead of being around 22 inches tall and 60 pounds which is the size of a Standard Poodle. A Miniature Poodle is no taller than 14 inches and weighs about 14 pounds. They bring all the same lovable Poodle energy, just in a smaller, more adorable package. 

Temperament or Personality

Miniature Poodles are very intelligent, active, sweet, and loyal. They are easily trained because of how smart they are. Miniature Poodles love to be active and will love to do whatever you do. They are also a great family pet because of how smart, tolerant, and gentle they are with children. A Miniature Poodle is a perfect fit no matter your lifestyle!

Exercise needs and size

Exercise is always needed to keep a dog healthy, even though the Miniature Poodle is smaller, they still love to be active. They will do any activity you do! Just something during each day to get them moving. Miniature Poodle range from 10 to 14 inches tall and usually weigh the same, around 10 to 15 pounds. 

Coat and Color Characteristics

Miniature Poodles have beautiful tightly curled coats .  Our Miniature Poodles range from glossy mahogany red to shades of apricot. They are considered to be hypoallergenic because they are a Poodle, however, it is always recommended to spend time with them, before adopting, if you have allergies, to be sure they will not affect you.

Genetics of our Miniature Poodles

Our Miniature Poodle puppies are always genetically guaranteed for 2 years, we have tested our parents for genetic diseases to be sure that we are not passing on inherited genetic diseases. They should live long healthy lives up to 10-15 years.
